Miss Piggy vs New York

After booking my New York holiday with my friend Miss M nearly nine l-o-n-g months ago the we day fly out has FINALLY arrived!

I think the below poster summarises fairly well what my plans are when I'm in New York...eat eat and eat some more. Oh and maybe a little sightseeing and shopping...and brunch!


I won't be blogging when I'm away, but I hope to return with a tonne of great photos (or just a tonne of photos) and some great tips on fantastic places to eat in The Big Apple.

    Best self service deli I went to was CAFE CRANBERRY on 45th street between 6th & 7th ave. Also, they have an upstairs cafeteria where you can just sit down to eat.
    OH! and family style italian: Tony's DiNapoli's IS H'AMAZING on 43rd street between 6th & 7th ave too.

    I hope you've tried the NYC pretzel. You can buy them on the street from street vendors. Gee I love the taste of them and the coarse crunchy salt on the outside. You also have to try a real American Hot Dog from a street vendor. Then there's Little Italy and Chinatown...Yummy!!! Maccas & KFC is pretty lousy, because the people who work there have lousy attitudes. And watch the firearms. Both times I was in NYC I was close to firearm incidents. Once there was a few rounds fired outside the Youth Hostel I was staying at and the next visit to NYC there was a murder involving a firearm in an apartment next to the youth hostel. You get used to it. Enjoy the squirrels at Battery Park. Cheers!
