Sounds like you are taking all the right things into account with your soil to me... I think that the best thing about gardening is that it is easy to just give it a go and see what happens then adjust as needed next time around. Happy growing. I will do a post about growing ginger soon too. If you buy a big enough pot and put it at the pack of the other pots you should be fine, plus it would create shade for your summer veggies too.Liz : strayed from the tablehttp://www.strayedtable.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085429884053920414.post-84338077698384124392013-04-09T07:45:18.258+10:002013-04-09T07:45:18.258+10:00Love your balcony garden - so inspiring! Make sure when harvesting to get every potato or they'll keep producing more spuds! Good luck with all your new seedlings - I'm excited to see how your kale grows :)Sherrie @ Crystal Noirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16058180671714883808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085429884053920414.post-88014162931877941352013-04-08T13:15:08.356+10:002013-04-08T13:15:08.356+10:00Great post Mel! I had no idea where to start but seeing your pictures has inspired me to pot up! Good luck with the Kale, mine was a huge success last winter/spring in a garden bed, so I hope I can recreate it in a pot too! xKirsty @ The Natural Foodiehttp://www.thenaturalfoodie.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1085429884053920414.post-83194951860782194522013-04-08T08:14:19.571+10:002013-04-08T08:14:19.571+10:00Oooo - is that at the City Farm?
